Run Your XP 3x Faster !!

See friends, the first thing I shall tell you is how to improve the speed of your computer without any software.Frankly speaking I got these from internet searching, these are not invented by me but I have applied these to my computer and it is running in 3X speed than before.


FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO MAKE YOUR COMPUTER FASTER:



1. To improve the startup speed: hit on START button > type "regedit" on RUN and click OK > now click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER > click CONTROL PANNEL > now click on DESKTOP and see right side of the two coulmn layout > you will find MENU SHOW DELAY > right click on it > click MODIFY > change the value to 0 > close all > restart the computer.
2. XP startup speed incresses: hit on START buttton > type "regedit" on RUN and click OK > now click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CURRENT CONTROL SET > CONTROL > SEASSON MANAGER > MEMORY MANAGEMENT > PERFECT PARAMETER > look right side > right click on ENABLE PREFETCHER > modify the value to 8 > OK > close all > restart the computer.

3. Incress Boot Up speed: In the previous way go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > DFRG > BOOT OPTIMIZE FUNCTION > > enable key > edit Y there > close all tabs > restart the computer.
4. For further boot up speed: START button > type "msconfig" on RUN > BOOT.IN > change Timeout to 3 sec > OK > restart.
Friends now complete some formal steps:
5. right click on My Computer > PROPERTIES > ADVANCE > Performance (SETTINGS) > Adjust for best performance > Apply > OK.
6. right click on My Computer > PROPERTIES > ADVANCE > Performance (SETTINGS) > ADVANCE > Change (Virtual Memory) > click on Custom Size > change Initial Size to 1525 and Max Size to 4525 > set > OK all .
7. Start button > All programmes > Accassories > System tools > Disk cleanup > clean all your drives (must check tick on all options).
8. Start button > All programmes > Accassories > System tools > Disk Defragmentation > defragment all drives.
